Since 2025 I've been investing in Bittensor. This page explains what it is and why it interests me. It's a personal view, not advice.
What Bittensor is
Bittensor is an open, decentralised network for producing AI. Instead of one company building and owning a model, independent teams compete inside specialised networks, called subnets, to provide useful AI work, such as models, data and computing power. The network rewards them in its own token, TAO, according to how useful their work is judged to be.

Why it interests me
My day job is helping small businesses use AI. I think who owns AI will matter as much as what it can do, and I'd rather it wasn't owned by only a handful of the largest companies. An open network where anyone can contribute and be rewarded is one answer to that.
